Simone Octavia Stephen is a journalist, storyteller and creative strategist from Edison, New Jersey. She is a proud Hampton University alumna with a B.A. in Journalism and a minor in Finance. It was at Hampton that she found her voice as a storyteller and began shaping the career she is building today.

A well rounded media mogul, Simone loves finding the story in the details and figuring out the best way to bring it to life, no matter the format. She is especially drawn to work that gives people a voice, introduces audiences to new perspectives and creates genuine connection.

Service has always been a big part of Simone’s life. As a lifelong Girl Scout, she grew up with an understanding of leadership, community and the importance of showing up for others. Those values have followed her into her professional work, influencing the stories she tells and her commitment to creating work that leaves people and communities better than she found them.
